About the Founder

Bhuvnesh Sharma is the founder of Karmup, bringing approximately five years of professional technology experience.

His experience working through education, corporate environments, technology projects and everyday interactions with people shaped the idea behind Karmup.

After years of helping friends, family, colleagues and others, he became interested in the relationship between help, acknowledgement, time and human behaviour.

That observation eventually became Karmup: a technology platform designed to make it easier for people to ask for help and for others to offer their time, skills and energy in return.

His broader philosophy behind Karmup is simple: Make people more conscious of how they help one another.

Why I Created Karmup

For years, I found myself helping people. Friends. Relatives. Family. Colleagues. Sometimes even strangers.

In school, I gradually learned that people depend on one another in ways that are rarely written down. You help someone understand something. You help someone finish something. You carry something for someone. You show someone the way. You solve a technical problem. You give someone your time. You help because you can. And most of the time, you do not even think about what you will receive in return.

Then came college, work and eventually corporate life. The environment changed, but one thing remained the same: people still needed help.

The difference was that I began to notice something I had not thought deeply about before. Sometimes, when help is completely free, people stop seeing the effort behind it. Something that may have taken your time, energy or mental effort can become invisible simply because you did not put a price on it.

There were situations where helping someone repeatedly left me feeling emotionally, mentally and sometimes physically drained. The difficult part was not necessarily that I received nothing financially. Sometimes even simple acknowledgement would have been enough. A genuine: "I remember that you helped me" could have meant something.

Instead, I began noticing a pattern. People can remember when someone hurt them for years. But the person who helped them during a difficult period can sometimes become a forgotten part of the story.

And there is another perspective that I realized deeply: when you ask for help, you feel indebted even before asking. We hesitate and think twice before reaching out to anyone, worrying whether we are imposing on them or creating an awkward obligation. That hesitation often stops people from getting the help they genuinely need.

Through Karmup, you will never have to carry that burden. You do not have to feel indebted to anyone: simply state what you need, agree on fair terms, pay directly, and get your work done with mutual clarity and complete self-respect.
