Need someone to run an errand, move a sofa, fix a spreadsheet, or tutor a subject? Karmup gives you a structured way to ask without awkwardness.
1. Create a clear request (18+ Required)
Describe what you need assistance with, where the task is located, and your preferred completion time. All requesters must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Review offers from community helpers
Nearby helpers will review your post and send direct offers. View their verified phone and email badges, past community ratings, and profile notes.
3. Discuss in-app & agree on direct payment
Chat directly in-app to confirm task specifics and agreed compensation. Approximate location is visible during discovery; exact address is only shared once you accept.
4. Pay the helper directly upon completion
Once the task is finished to your satisfaction, pay the helper directly via UPI, QR code, or cash. Karmup does not hold task money or add extra markups.
Direct Payments Between You and Your Helper
On Karmup, you agree the fee directly with your helper prior to the task commencing. When the work is done, you pay them directly through the payment mode they accept:
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM)
- UPI QR code scan
- Cash in hand
Karmup does not hold or transfer the task payment. We do not operate an intermediary wallet or holding account for task payments, and we do not add separate markups to the price you agree with your helper. Karmup is free to use during early launch.
Important Safety Guidelines
- Public Meetups: For item handovers or consultations, choose well-lit public locations or gated society entry points.
- No Advance Payments: Never pay the full task fee upfront to an unfamiliar party. Pay upon completion.
- In-App Chat: Keep all discussions within Karmup chat so that platform moderation can assist if issues arise.
- No Regulated Emergency Services: Karmup is not an emergency, medical, police, ambulance, or taxi operator. In emergencies, call standard authorities.
